Terms & Conditions:-
Please ensure you read these carefully, as by booking you are confirming that you have read, understood, and accepted them on behalf of all members of your party.
Payment
Upon booking, your card will be charged 40% of the full total, the remaining balance will be charged 6 weeks before your stay.
Bookings made less than six weeks prior to your stay will be charged the full balance at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing to hello@thenomadhouse.co.uk
In the event of a cancellation any time up to 16 weeks prior to your confirmed stay, we will refund the payment minus a £25 handling fee.
In the event of a cancellation any time up to 6 weeks prior to your confirmed stay, we will refund 10% of the full payment plus a £25 handling fee.
In the event of a cancellation up to 6 weeks prior to your confirmed stay, we will refund £50 of the full payment.
Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival are not liable for any refund unless we are able fully relet the stay – please contact us for further information in the event of needing to cancel - hello@thenomadhouse.co.uk
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Cancellations due to Covid-19
As per government guidelines, there are no restrictions in place and the above cancellation clauses apply. Please take out appropriate travel insurance that includes a provision for Covid-19
Check-in and out times
The booking is from 3 pm on the day of arrival to 11 am on the day of departure. Timing on short breaks and winter bookings can be flexible, with the prior agreement being made with the owner. Guests are asked to leave their accommodation clean and tidy when vacating. Information about keys and how to collect them will be provided once full payment for your booking has been received.
Miscellaneous
Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, some things do change over time. No refunds are available for such discrepancies.
The owner is entitled to ask the holidaymaker to leave the property without any refund if, in our opinion, the behaviour of the holidaymaker and party is unacceptable.
Photoshoots
Commercial photoshoots are not allowed without prior permission – please contact us at hello@thenomadhouse.co.uk
Number of Guests
The maximum number of people entitled to stay at this property is 6 and only those people named on the booking form are entitled to stay. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract, and the holidaymaker and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. Sub-letting or assignation of the let is strictly prohibited.
Babies
The Nomad house is the perfect spot for baby’s first stay and we provide all the necessary equipment such as a travel cot, baby changing area, playmat and gym, sterilizer, high chair, and baby monitor. If you are bringing a baby please confirm this with us prior to your booking .
Children
Well-behaved children are welcome at The Nomad House with prior permission.
Dogs
We can only accommodate well-behaved small dogs with prior permission. If you would like to bring your pet please discuss it with us in advance of booking. Bringing a pet without prior agreement with us will be considered a breach of contract and the holidaymaker and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Dogs are to be kept on the ground floor only.
No dogs on the furniture.
Guest Obligations
The house is to be left clean and tidy except for bedding and sheeting which can be left within the bedrooms/bathroom.
All windows are to be left closed and locked on departure. The front door is to be left double locked and the alarm set to away when departing/leaving the property empty. At the end of your stay, the keys are to be left in the key safe. Failure to do this will result in a £125 penalty.
Accessibility and Parking
Parking is free on the square but can be harder to guarantee late at night or on summer days.
Smoking
Strictly no smoking inside the house or directly outside the property.
Balcony & Windows
The balcony has child-proof window restrictors. The balcony is strictly off-limits to all guests. The windows also have child-proof window restrictors and there is a key in every room to remove these in the event of a fire.
Liability
The property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the holidaymaker or the holidaymaker’s party. Vehicles and personal possessions are left entirely at the risk of the holidaymaker.
Breakages
A £125 fully refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking. The holidaymaker must make every effort to keep the property, fixtures, fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday. Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported to the property owner prior to departure. The property owner retains the right to make any additional charge and request payment for damage or breakages, withstanding minor breakages or ‘wear and tear’ as decided by the property owner.
Complaints
Any complaints must be made known to the property owner immediately and without hesitation, whereupon the property owner will endeavour to resolve any issues that may have arisen. No complaints will be entertained at the end of the hiring period or after the holidaymaker has departed.
Declaration
I have read the Terms and Conditions of this booking and agree on behalf of all members of my party to abide by those conditions during my stay at The Nomad House. I understand that the balance must be paid 6 weeks before the start of my holiday and failure to do so may result in the cancellation of my booking and as a consequence, my deposit not being refunded. I am over 18 years of age.
